Daniel Furiak

Daniel Furiak, Master Gunnery Sergeant, U.S. Marine Corps (Ret.) is a senior logistics and sustainment expert with over 30 years of military service and post-retirement leadership in defense consulting. He retired in 2017 following a distinguished career that culminated at the Pentagon, where he served as the Senior Enlisted Advisor to two Deputy Commandants.

Throughout his military career, Dan led operations across seven combat tours and multiple humanitarian and stability missions. Since retiring, he has transitioned into the private sector, first as a Senior Analyst, then as a Principal at a leading Washington D.C. consulting firm, and now as the founder of A.R.K. Consulting LLC.

Dan specializes in Joint Capability Integration and Development System (JCIDS) support and Program Objective Memorandum (POM) planning. His Pentagon experience enables him to help clients navigate complex Department of Defense funding processes and strategic planning cycles.

He holds an Associate of Science degree and has completed all levels of Professional Military Education (PME).

Sarah Parker

Sarah Parker brings over 23 years of experience as a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), with a deep background in clinical operations, patient care, and regulatory compliance. Her career spans multiple healthcare environments where she supported cross-functional teams, improved workflows, and maintained quality outcomes under high-pressure conditions.

Now serving as the Operations Manager for a government consulting agency, Sarah applies her healthcare leadership to manage acquisition support, logistics coordination, and strategic planning for clients in the Department of Defense and federal government. Her ability to transition from clinical operations to federal consulting reflects her adaptability, strong organizational skills, and mission-driven approach."

LtGen Dana

Lieutenant General Michael G. Dana USMC, (Ret.) LtGen Dana retired from the United States Marine Corps on 1 September 2019. He graduated from Union College in Schenectady, New York and was commissioned a Second Lieutenant in June of 1982. In a career spanning thirty-seven years he served as an armor officer, a logistics officer, and a strategic planner. As a three-star general officer he served as the Deputy Commandant for Installations and Logistics (DC I&L) and as the Director of the Marine Corps staff (DMCS). Over his thirty-seven-year career LtGen Dana deployed ten times, including seven humanitarian, peacekeeping, or combat deployments. He was an infantry battalion logistics officer in Desert Storm, a landing support company commander in Somalia in 1992, a NATO staff officer in the Former Republic of Yugoslavia in 1996, a staff officer with a joint command in Kuwait in 2004/5, the commander of Marine Wing Support Group 37 in Iraq in 2006/7, a logistics officer in Haiti in 2010, and the Commanding General of 2d Marine Logistics Group in 2011/12 in Afghanistan.

LtGen Dana and his family live in Tucson, Arizona. He continues to contribute to defense strategy and industry innovation.
